Storytelling event brings dining to life in Barrington

A unique storytelling event is being organized in Barrington, allowing the area’s top creators to share unforgettable stories with attendees surrounding their culinary experiences.

The Chew on This: Unforgettable Meals - An Evening of Storytelling, organized by Barrington’s White House, is set to welcome interested parties next month for a fun evening of stories shared in an intimate setting. The stories will follow food and dining experiences as the central theme.

The stories will use a mix of humor, chaos, and unexpected outcomes to hold the audience’s attention and create a memorable evening. The purpose is to shed light on the positive role that food plays in life. Poster printing is a classic way to promote such events around the community to generate interest and excitement.

The evening will be hosted by Megan Wells, a master storyteller with over 40 years of experience. Many of Wells’ stories are built around warmth and authentic experiences, bringing a human element to the sharing of the tales. It will be held as a continuation of Barrington’s storytelling series.

The storytelling event will be held at Barrington’s White House on Friday, October 10th. The doors open at 7:30 PM. Admission is free, and interested parties can make reservations online. General admission is $29 for adults, and people are invited to contribute a donation to the event.
