The Village of Barrington and the Chamber of Commerce of the Barrington Area will sponsor the Fall Barrington Wine Walk 2019.
The cost is $25 and tickets are available on the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce website. It includes a souvenir wineglass, an ounce of wine from each vendor, a list of vendors to check off after tasting their wine, and a map of all vendor locations. Flyer printing is often used to create checklists for events like a wine walk.
There will be a trolley for attendees to use and go to certain areas downtown. Participants must be at least 21 years old. Identification will be need to be verified and each attendee will receive a wristband.
Fall Wine Walk vendors include Anderson's Candy Shop, Barrington Flower Shop, Big Iron Horse BBQ, Barrington's White House, Flesk Brewing Co., Heinen's Grocery Store, Paris Market Antiques, and Super G's Cheesesteaks. A full rundown of the vendors is listed on the Chamber of Commerce’s website.
Started in 1969, the Chamber of Commerce for the Barrington Area has grown to having almost 900 businesses as members. It encourages economic growth and opportunity and hosts leadership and professional development programs.
Participants can come to the downtown area tomorrow, October 12, starting at 2:00 pm in order to check in. Check-in will be at 130 South Hough Street at NeoTeca. There, participants can taste wine from different vendors and visit the local store. The event will go until 6:00 pm.
