What's Happening in Barrington, IL…

Travel agency consortium MAST Travel Network will host its 2020 Winter Meetings in late January in South Barrington.

The educational theme for this year is Sustaining Innovation. Members are encouraged to establish their business model while maintaining the quality clients expect from the company. This will improve traveling for the client and positively influence quality of life around the world.

Several suppliers will talk about how they accommodate the different needs of clients and how their businesses organize resources. Members can learn from the suppliers' knowledge while networking and brainstorming with others.

The meetings will start with a half hour of socialization before heading into supplier training for one hour. Then, there is another half hour of socializing and a 45-minute session of supplier training. The last 15 minutes will be for networking, where companies can get to know each other and exchange Business Cards.

Every person employed in the MAST travel industry is welcome to attend. Smaller groups create a more personal and friendly atmosphere for participants to learn and build a network.

MAST members can attend free but there is a $30.00 fee for those who cancel after January 13 to ensure the organization qualifies for a private meeting room at the restaurant.

MAST members will meet at Pinstripes on West Higgins Road on January 21 from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm
