Music enthusiasts will want to make a note in their Journals for next month, as a Grammy-nominated vocalist is slated to open the Fall 2025 season in Barrington.
Nnenna Freelon's season-opening performance has a date in the Barrington calendar, with interested parties welcome to attend and listen. Freelon will sing numbers from Beneath the Skin, her original jazz album. The performance will be held in an intimate setting, allowing attendees to enjoy a memorable show.
Freelon has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards during her musical career and is known for her lively performances. Critics have described her as one of the top jazz vocalists of her generation.
