A local non-profit agency will be hosting an evening event in Barrington next month, in support of children in the Illinois foster care system.
The 3rd annual Be Mine fundraiser will be hosted by Let It Be Us, an Illinois based non-profit organization created to support the more than 18,000 children awaiting placement in foster homes. The event is held each year to raise money for foster parent recruitment programs throughout the state.
The 2021 event will feature a formal cocktail event, including dinner and drinks, a keynote speaker, a live auction and raffles. Tickets may be purchased for $165 each, with proceeds in support of Let It Be Us.
Sponsors are still needed for this event, with several packages available. All of them include event tickets and may feature the company Logo Design on digital and printed event marketing materials. All sponsorship inquiries should be directed to Lisa Hanson Braun at lisahbraun@letitbeus.org.
Let It Be Us was started in 2014, with a mission to improve adoption and foster parent opportunities in Illinois. In the years since its inception, hundreds of children have been placed in homes in response to emergency and permanent needs, using the agency’s exclusive database.
The 2021 Be Mine event will be held at Shakou Barrington, located at 121 West Main Street on Friday, July 9, starting at 7:00 PM. Formal cocktail attire is required. Tickets can be purchased from the event website.
