Barrington residents can mark their Calendars for an upcoming family event, as the Barrington Dance Ensemble (BDE) and the Sanfilippo Foundation again join forces to stage "Under the Big Top."
This anticipated collaboration promises to captivate audiences with four showings of BDE's acclaimed circus ballet production. The event will offer various entertainment options, including carousel rides and tours of the Carousel House. Attendees can also expect a carnival atmosphere with stilt walkers, face painting, clowns, balloon artists, and more.
The event's highlight will be the performance of BDE's turn-of-the-century circus ballet. This presentation will feature talented BDE company members, Barrington Dance Academy students, and esteemed guest artists.
The festivities will commence at noon on both Saturday and Sunday, with performances scheduled for 1:30pm and 4:30pm each day. Circus festivities will begin at noon and 3:00pm on both days, showcasing the range of entertainment options and thrilling rides on the renowned Sanfilippo antique carousel.
Tickets for "Under the Big Top" are already on sale from, offering general admission for $25 and preferred bleacher seating for $35. With limited availability, early booking is recommended to secure a spot.
