Development awards ceremony celebrates Barringtons best

A dinner and celebration are being planned in Barrington to recognize new initiatives to improve the community while acknowledging the area’s finest citizens.

The Barrington Area Development Council Annual Dinner and Citizen of the Year ceremony will kick off next month. It will bring together the best in the area to celebrate another successful year and recognize the people who made progress possible. The event is being organized by the Barrington Area Development Council, a group committed to helping Barrington move forward for the betterment of its citizens.

Guests can expect to see local leaders, small business owners, and other residents who want to celebrate. Business card printing is an excellent idea for networking and swapping information when planning to attend such events.

The event will start with a 5:30 PM reception featuring hors d’oeuvres and drinks from the venue’s cash bar. Guests are asked to drink responsibly and arrange for a designated driver. The reception will be followed by the dinner and a fireside chat with Karen Darch, the Village of Barrington President. The night will be capped off with the announcement of Barrington’s Citizen of the Year.

The Barrington White House will be the setting for the dinner and award ceremony, which will be held on Wednesday, May 7th. The doors open at 5:30 PM. Tickets are available online for $95 per person.
