A summer-themed cookie decorating workshop is being planned, and Barrington creatives and bakers will want to mark it in their Calendars.
The Summer Sand and Sugar Cookie Decorating Class with My Cookie Cottage will open its doors to bakers and artists in a few weeks, providing an immersive learning experience for those who want to elevate their cookie designs. The two-hour course will provide basic information about making and decorating sugar cookies, ensuring a beginner-friendly experience for all.
Attendees will have the opportunity to practice exercises with piping using Royal Icing, covering general concepts and the most effective strategies for decorating cookies. An in-person instructor will be at the workshop to answer any questions and provide step-by-step guidance. All necessary materials will be provided with the ticket price, and interested parties are asked to bring a smile and an apron. Flyer printing is an effective way to raise awareness of events around town and increase attendance.
The workshop is limited to 20 participants, and interested parties are encouraged to make their reservations while spots are available. Participants will leave the event with decorated cookies to enjoy or share with friends and family.
The baking and cookie decorating class will be held at The Pieceful Project in nearby Cary on Thursday, June 5th, at 6:30 PM. Reservations are open online for $50 per student.
