Beer festival helps Barrington residents explore brews
A craft beer festival is planning a visit near Barrington in the coming weeks, allowing area residents an opportunity to explore the newest offerings from local and regional breweries.
The Long Grove Craft Beer Festival has an official start date, and interested parties looking to discover their favorite brews for the summer will want to save the date. The festival will provide a day filled with beer tasting, with attendees able to purchase their favorite options from the festival’s vendors.
Guests will discover several styles and flavors of beer and cider in Long Grove’s historic downtown district. Attendees will enjoy unlimited samples of top-tier beer options, along with live music headlined by the local band The Sunflower Headlights. All attendees must be 21 or older to attend the festival. Banner printing is a colorful and memorable way to welcome visitors to such events while promoting event sponsors.
Participating breweries will include Almond Ridge Brewery, Art History Brewing, Tighthead Brewing Company, and Obscurity Brewing and Craft Mead. Guests are encouraged to drink responsibly and arrange a designated driver for safe travel. Food vendors will attend, and guests will receive a commemorative taster glass.
The festival will be held on Saturday, April 26th, from noon until 4:00 PM, starting at 340 Old McHenry Road in Long Grove. General admission tickets cost $60 per person online.
