What's Happening in Barrington, IL…

Each spring, Barrington welcomes a special guest, and a community celebration has been planned in honor of his arrival.

The city’s Park District is preparing for the annual Breakfast with Bunny, which is a popular tradition for area families. Each attendee from one year of age and up must purchase a ticket for the occasion, and will need to have an adult accompany them throughout the event.

The guests at the meal will be treated to a catered breakfast, and while the parents socialize, the kids can enjoy the fun planned for them. Admission is $8 for kids and $10 for adults, and the run time for the activity is one and a half hours.

In the release prepared for the event, it was noted that there will not be an egg hunt after the meal as was the case in previous years, as this has been replaced with a Flashlight Egg Hunt.

One of the ways planners can make a function feel even more festive is by using custom decor. Those will be available at area banner printing companies, which will have a wide selection of styles on offer.

The Easter Bunny will be hopping on in for this annual Barrington breakfast on April 9. It will be hosted at the Barrington Park District Fitness and Recreation Center located at 235 Lions Dr.
