The Barrington Art Festival is set to take place on Memorial Day weekend. The festival, organized by the Village of Barrington and Amdur Productions, will feature various artists and their works.
In total, over 120 juried artists from across the country will showcase their works in media such as ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, painting, and sculpture. In addition to the art on display, the festival will feature live music performances and food from esteemed restaurants and cafes.
The festival invites visitors to bring their gently used wall art, which the Chicago Furniture Bank will collect as donations. This charity bank provides art and furniture to those transitioning into permanent residences after leaving shelters.
The Barrington Art Festival is a family-friendly event and will include activities for children. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing services to inform the attendees about the list of artists and the various activities to indulge in during the event.
The festival will be located in downtown Barrington on Cook and Station Streets. Admission to the festival is free, and it will be open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on both Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28. Parking is available in nearby public lots, or for those leaving the car at home, the location is just a short walk from Barrington Metra Station.
