Barrington locals to learn about energy healing

A Barrington reiki business will host a virtual sharing event through Zoom.

Participants of every experience level are welcome to attend the November Reiki Share. This meetup will allow both beginners and those seasoned in the alternative energy practice to network and learn.

During the seminar, participants will learn elementary therapeutic techniques using energy. They can apply these methods to themselves and others. Organizers will also detail how to control energy from further away. Participants are free to ask questions and converse with more experienced attendees.

More experienced energy managers, such as those who have practiced reiki as well as tai chi, can gain additional practice and review the basics. They can also learn tips and tricks and ask specific questions to the organizers.

The meeting will begin with guided meditation followed by practicing on one's own body. Then, organizers will illustrate how to perform reiki on others, including those not in the practitioner’s presence.

Registration is a $5 donation, which will benefit charity. Once payment is received, participants will get an email with a link to the Zoom chatroom. Registration is also possible by calling 847-842-1752.

Participants should bring a spherical object to the meeting, such as a ball or pillow. Writing materials are encouraged but not required.

The Zoom meeting will take place on November 20 from 7:00 pm to 8:30pm. Participants can arrive early and introduce themselves. Reiki Share of the Northwest Chicago area is located at 26402 North Edgemond Lane. Organizations often use brochure printing to detail the benefits of certain practices.
