Barrington corporate community to support scholarship fundraiser

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce is bringing its annual fundraising dinner back for another year.

The organization will once again be hosting its scholarship fundraiser, and the evening promises to offer plenty of opportunities for networking and exchanging Business Cards. The function has been made possible thanks to the assistance of a group of civic-minded companies, and the logo designs of each can be seen on the materials used to promote the affair.

Returning to an in-person event now that regulations allow this, the plans for the occasion include both live and silent auctions, and many businesses have made a financial contribution or donated a gift in kind for this. A cash bar will be available, and food stations will be set up as well. Monies raised will be added to the Lauren Brown Memorial Scholarship fund and other projects undertaken by the Chamber.

The organizers say anyone who would like to contribute Corporate Gifts or another donation to the evening is asked to contact communications@barringtonchamber.com. The function will run for four hours, and tickets start at $65 each or $500 for a table of eight

This popular Chamber fundraising winter meet and greet has been scheduled for the evening of January 27. It will begin at 5:30 pm, and additional information is available on the Chamber’s website.
