A secret weapon is on offer for Barrington shoppers who want to get their holiday shopping out of the way early, and it will put locally crafted goods in the spotlight.
The planners of the Holiday Craft Fair will be providing a venue where the public and local artists and artisans can come together. The Triphahn Center and Ice Arena will be the location for the pop-up market, and it will be set up in the facility’s gym.
This will be the second year the function has been on the agenda, and admission for the public will be free of charge. It will be open for four hours, and it is expected to be a popular occasion.
To help ensure that there will be a diverse group of vendors for the attendees to browse through, the planners may still be accepting applications from area small businesses. The booking fee for a space is $20, and each registrant will need to supply their own table, chairs and booth décor, as well as any Business Cards or Promotional Products they wish to distribute to the crowd. Items like these can be ordered from area printers.
This chance to show some love to the local crafting community is on the agenda for November 12. The doors will open to the general public at 10:00 am.
