Nampa opens seasonal farmers market
Nampa is offering an outdoor holiday market for the next few weeks at Lloyd Square Park.
The Winter Wonderland at the Nampa Farmers’ Market is a festive experience where consumers can browse the stalls of local merchants. The seasonal produce available at the marketplace includes pumpkins, plums, and radishes. Many vendors attend the market, such as the Happy Heron Farm, Mama’s Beef Jerky, and the Mason Creek Flower Farm. All items offered during the event have been produced within 100 miles of Lloyd Square Park.
Organizations interested in promoting themselves at the farmers’ market can become a sponsor. There are six levels of sponsorship packages that range between $100 and $5,000. The market offers many benefits to companies that become sponsors, like having their promotional materials displayed at the event’s information booth and getting to write a 1,000 article on the market’s Facebook page. The money received from businesses will be used for purposes like building a stronger community and improving local nutrition.
The farmers’ market began last Saturday, November 5, and will be held every Saturday until December 10. The marketplace will be open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. No payment or registration is needed for consumers to browse the holiday market. Stores that set up booths at events like this may use brochure printing to give visitors take-home information about their products and services.
