Nampa music school to host animal-themed camp
Shaw Studios in Nampa will be offering a summer camp in July that uses animals to help educate children.
The Carnival of the Animals Camp is a program that uses interactive activities to teach kids about subjects like music, geography, science, and history. The lessons will use a musical suite titled The Carnival of the Animals to deepen the campers’ understanding of concepts such as rhythm patterns and musical motives. The piece was composed by Camille Saint-Saëns and lasts for about 25 minutes. Children will get to compose their own songs based on their favorite animals during the camp.
Shaw Studios is a facility where kids can learn how to play piano and sing from an experienced instructor. Miss Natalie, the teacher, earned a degree in musical education from Geneva College and is currently enrolled at Liberty University. She uses a well-rounded approach to teach her students and incorporates ear training, rhythmic instruction, and sight-reading into her programs. Educators like this may use brochure printing to provide parents with a portable description of their current classes and prices.
The animal-themed summer program will be held from Monday, July 18th to Friday, July 22nd. Each session of the music camp will last from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The last date of the camp will include a performance for the participants’ family and friends.
