Holiday market to take over Nampa sports center
The Vintage Market Days of Treasure Valley Idaho will hold an event in December at the Ford Idaho Sport Center in Nampa.
A Merry Little Christmas is a themed marketplace where people can browse curated vendors and enjoy holiday entertainment. Many types of goods can be bought at the market, like home décor, outdoor furnishings, and boutique clothing. There are over 100 vendors for guests to browse. Those who purchase furniture at the event can utilize the market’s Furniture Loading Zone, and there will also be a small item and bag check to make shopping more convenient for attendees.
Proceeds from the marketplace will help benefit the Idaho Foster & Adoptive Parent Association. The nonprofit corporation helps improve the care of foster children with its educational resources. Jacque Burt is the association's president, and Denise Clark is the vice president. Many activities are held by the organization, like its annual lemonade stand fundraiser and presentations on how to take care of foster children.
The Christmas-themed marketplace will be held on December 1st and December 2nd. Tickets will cost $10 per person. Those who wish to attend the early buying event can pay $15 for their tickets. Parking is free, and those 12 and under do not need to pay to access the market. Vendors who attend seasonal shopping events like this may bring business cards to share with booth visitors.
