The Suwanee Sports Academy will be organizing a summer basketball event where middle schoolers can showcase their skills.
The Summer Grand Prix is a multi-day event where middle school basketball teams can compete with other talented teams from across the country. The showdown is intended to prepare aspiring basketball players for futures in ultra-competitive spaces. The event is co-organized by PQSports and Pulliam-Wilson Scouting. PQSports is an organization that hosts basketball events for children and teens, while Pulliam-Wilson Scouting is a service that identifies the top 500 basketball players in the United States.
The Suwanee Sports Academy is a multisports complex that was created in 1997. The building is home to several basketball and volleyball courts. Other amenities at the facility include a shooting lab, a physical therapy center, and multiple meeting rooms. The academy is also home to the Suwanee Pickleball Club. The organization launched a news outlet called HoopSeen in 2011 to share the victories and stories of basketball players.
The basketball competition will be held from July 14 to 16. The cost for teams to enter the Summer Grand Prix is $475. All competitors are guaranteed to play in three games during the event. The competition is only for male students in grades 3 to 8. Sports organizations that hold programs like this may use flyer printing to advertise their matches to the community.
