Suwanee residents who would like to hit the ground running when it comes to choosing the right amphibian or reptile to join their family are welcome to be part of a learning session next week.
UGA Extension Gwinnett offers a variety of learning opportunities for the local area, and it will be offering an in-person workshop that will discuss reptiles and amphibians. It will be facilitated by Keelin Klein, and seats are available free of charge.
The activity will introduce a variety of cold-blooded creatures, and the attendees can view them up close. There will be different species to meet, with selections for all knowledge levels when it comes to these scaly animal companions. Participants will discover how each has its own personality. Practical tips for their care will be shared, and it counts as a credit towards the master gardener program.
If they have a chance to learn about a companion animal before they welcome one into their home, peple will be able to provide their new family member with the care it needs to thrive. A workshop offers the chance to do this, and learning materials for a session can be ordered from a brochure printing company.
This introduction to Suwanee’s scaly set is scheduled for next Tuesday, December 30. It will start at 12:00 pm at 750 S. Perry Street in nearby Lawrenceville.
