Suwanee chill fans may want to bring their appetites when they attend a local festival that will put this popular dish front and center.
The organizers of the Suwanee Chili Cook-Off and Music Festival are hoping for a great turnout, and it promises to be a fun time. Its charity of choice is Project Green, which helps to ensure that area kids have access to summer camps and other educational activities, regardless of their family’s finances.
Local chili cooks will be showing off their top recipe, and the public can sample them all. Awards will be presented to the top picks in different categories, and as the competition is an ICS-certified Cook-Off, the winners will be given a verified certificate. They will also qualify for the amateur division of the World Open Chili Challenge.
Along with the chili, the function will feature a vendor area that showcases local small businesses. Live music will be playing, and food trucks will be on hand as well. Admission will be free, and chili sampling wristbands can be purchased on site for $10.00 each. Materials for an event can be created by a company that offers Logo Design and other custom printing services.
This chance for Suwanee chili fans to treat themselves will be on offer on November 15th. Town Center Park will be the venue for the festivities.
