Suwanee sets date for outdoor double features

The dog days of summer are well suited to outdoor entertainment, and this is what is in store for those who attend an event in Suwanee this August.

The organizers of Movies and Mocktails are offering a free double feature movie screened under the stars. All ages are on the guestlist and both films will be family friendly.

Everyone who attends is encouraged to pack a folding chair or blanket, and they may also bring snacks to enjoy. There will be food trucks on hand as well as vendors offering sweet treats, and Suwanee Circle will be providing a variety of themed mocktails chosen because they match the movies. While audience members are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages, they may be purchased on site.

Both movies shown will have a prehistoric theme, with Jurassic Park and The Good Dinosaur being the film choices.

For any outdoor movie night or other community celebration, a poster printing company can lend a hand by helping to spread the word to as many as possible. They may be made from materials durable enough for use outside.

The Town Center on Main and DeLay Nature Park has made plans to screen the two movies on Saturday, August 2. The first movie will start at 6:30 pm, and the second will begin at 8:00 pm.
