Suwanee schedules spooky family movie night

Suwanee has plans in the works for a special Halloween event.

The community will be welcoming one and all for its Halloween-themed “Dinner & a Boovie” event, which has received support from various sources, including the merchants along Town Center Avenue. There are two movies to be screened, and the first will be suitable for all ages.

The kids in the crowd can come in costume, and they will be invited to visit the various shops, eateries and other establishments along the Avenue. Participating businesses will be handing out stickers, wrapped candies and other treats, and this will be paired with games and inflatables that will be set up for the event. Promotional Pens are sometimes distributed by businesses at events like this.

After the trick or treating, attendees will be invited to make their way to the seating area for the double feature. The movies for this are yet to be confirmed. Blankets and chairs are recommended, and there will be food trucks onsite. Volunteers will be needed for this special occasion, and more details about this will be released soon.

The merchants that call Town Center Avenue home will be hosting the Halloween gathering on October 26th. The fun will be getting started at 5:00 pm, and anyone who needs more information can find it on the City of Suwanee website.
