Houseplants add life to a home, and the city’s new plant parents, as well as anyone who wishes for a refresher on how to provide their indoor garden with top care, is welcome to be part of an upcoming workshop.
The Suwanee Branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library System will be helping its newest home horticulturalists hit the ground running, and it will include time for the attendees to ask questions. It has been scheduled for an upcoming Tuesday evening, and only a limited number of spaces are available.
The session will open with a presentation that covers houseplant tips and pitfalls, and everyone will learn how to avoid common mistakes. After this, attendees can ask questions, and this will be followed by a plant swap. The participants can meet and get to know their fellow indoor garden enthusiasts, and the event is suited for those age 19 and up.
Indoor horticulture is a popular pastime, but not everyone knows how to get started. Attending a workshop provides a time to learn from subject matter experts, and a flyer printing company can be tasked with preparing materials that help get the word out to as many interested parties as possible.
The Suwanee Branch of the library will be running its House Plant Boot Camp / Plant Swap on May 27. It will begin at 5:00 pm and wrap up at 6:00 pm.
