Suwanee golfing event to support Down syndrome community

The National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) will be organizing a golfing activity at Bear’s Best Atlanta in Suwanee.

The NDSC All Kinds of Heroes Golf Classic is a charitable event that uses its proceeds to raise awareness for education and employment opportunities for people with Down syndrome. The money will also help the NDSC provide up-to-date resources for families and healthcare professionals in the Down syndrome community. Each golfer will receive a player goodie bag and a golf cart with a stocked cooler. The event also includes lunch and snacks.

The NDSC is a nonprofit group that wants to create an improved world for those who have Down syndrome. The organization was founded in 1973 and has since made a nationwide network that embraces individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the people who support them. Companies can help the group by sponsoring its events. The available packages for the golf competition cost between $500 and $15,000.

The golfing event will be held on Monday, April 24th and will cost $190 per person to enter. Groups of four may also join the competition for $750. General admission will include unlimited beverages and an invite to a pre-event cocktail social on April 23rd. Organizations that coordinate golf fundraisers like this may use banner printing to showcase the logos of their sponsors to attendees.
