Suwanee BBQ and music fest to benefit kids

Suwanee will be putting together a community festival at Town Center Park to help support a local nonprofit.

The Suwanee Taste of BBQ & Music Festival is an experience where people can enjoy BBQ dishes while taking part in other outdoor activities. The fest will include a market where artists can sell their wares and a family fun zone for kids of all ages. The groups who will perform at the event will be booked through All Right Now Entertainment. Festivalgoers do not have to pay for parking to take part in the BBQ fest.

The charity that benefiting from this BBQ is Project Green. The organization helps local children by funding their trips to summer camps through programs like the Back To Basics Summer Camp For Kids Program. The group was also in charge of the Annual Project Green Winter Fundraiser and has been involved with events like The Hampton Classic Horse Show. The CEO of the charity is Patrycja Siewert Towns, a graduate of the University of South Florida.

The music fest will be on Saturday, October 7th from 10:00am to 6:00pm. There is no entrance fee to access the program, and registration is also not necessary. Community organizations planning outdoor activities like this may use flyer printing to share festival-related information with the public.
