Community beer festival to return to Suwanee

Suwanee will hold a community beer festival in March to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Town Center Park.

The Suwanee American Craft Beer Festival is a special event where guests can try more than 400 alcoholic drinks from notable brewers around the country. Many breweries have participated in the festival before, such as Creature Comforts Brewing, Monkey Wrench Brewing, and Slow Pour Brewing.

People can also enjoy activities at the festival like axe throwing, giant Jenga, and cornhole. There will be food trucks and art vendors for attendees to browse.

Another activity associated with the beer festival is the Suwanee Beer Fest Beer Chaser 5K. The race takes place along Peachtree Road and includes five beer stops where guests can sample three ounces of beer. There will also be a convenient water station for athletes to use on the course. Racers will receive a commemorative race shirt and medal for entering the event.

The craft beer festival will take place on March 16 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. General admission tickets will cost $75 per person, though discounts will be given to those who purchase their festival tickets in advance.

The Suwanee Beer Fest Beer Chaser 5K is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 at 11:00am, and will cost $65 to enter. Towns that hold seasonal events like this can use printing services to design themed advertisements for their programs.
