Roswell will be hosting "The Running of the Leprechauns" event this March, in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
The event will feature two races a 5K run and a walk. The event is designed for runners and beer enthusiasts celebrating St. Patrick's Day, and it will commence downhill from Riverside Park, proceeding along Riverside Drive beside the Chattahoochee River.
Beyond the race events, "The Running of the Leprechauns" also serves a charitable ambition, as it will be raising funds for Friends of Roswell Police Department, which supports local seniors and families.
The race will also consist of giveaways. It will feature a commemorative shirt, a finisher's gift in the form of a leprechaun hat, and a downtown Roswell beer crawl, offering a complimentary beer from three separate establishments. Only individuals aged 21 and older will be allowed to receive beers. The awards ceremony and post-race festivities will occur at the Gate City Brewing Company’s tap room.
The cost to participate in the 5k walk or run will be $35. Attendees should note that this price will increase after February 1. Attendees can register for this event via the Find a Race Listing.
Banner printing can be a great way to identify the start and finish points of events such as this one.
The date and time of the St. Patrick's Day 5k will be Saturday, March 16 from 8am to 9am. The starting location will be 575 Riverside Drive, Roswell, Georgia.
