The Kingfisher Kids Winter Series is scheduled to continue throughout January 2021 in Roswell.

The Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC) organized this event for children from ages five to six to encourage and develop their interests in the natural world through a series of activities throughout the day. The nature center frequently hosts many other campfire and hiking events throughout each year for both children and adults to enjoy local forested areas, and have close-up encounters with animals.

The Roswell Kingfisher Kids Winter Series serves as a recurring seasonal event that allows parents to drop off their children at the center for an afternoon of guided animal encounters, hikes, and science activities. A CNC naturalist will lead each activity, and group sizes are limited to eight children at a time. The hosts of similar educational programs for children often use brochure printing to ensure that parents have access to informative printed materials detailing the activities and registration requirements involved in featured programs.

Registration is priced at $100 per child for CNC members, or costs $120 for non-members.

The Kingfisher Kids Winter Series will occur on Monday, January 25, Wednesday, January 27, and Friday, January 29 at the Chattahoochee Nature Center from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Parents must register for their chosen dates in advance by Thursday, January 21.
