A community cycling event will be held in Roswell this April.
Called Bike Roswell!, the aims of the day is to celebrate the anniversary of biking advocacy in the city. Residents are welcome to enjoy the morning air as they experience Roswell's landscape, which includes flat roads and rolling hills.
Participants are free to choose their routes for this event, with three options to choose from. Some are more family-oriented, while others offer challenging areas for experienced riders. Further details are on the event's website.
There will be rest stops along the way for riders to stop and refuel, each having snacks and drinks available. Registrants will also receive a free T-shirt for participation, as well as free mechanical check-up before the race begins.
There will also be a post-ride luncheon held for participants after the race. The proceeds from the event will go towards 'Bike Roswell!', which is a registered non-profit organization that advocates the use of safer cycling options for all residents of Roswell.
Registration will be $40 until March 31, and $50 after. Roswell Bike! members will pay $30. Participants should register on the event's website. Banner printing can be an inventive way to highlight events such as these.
This event will be held on Sunday, April 24 beginning at 8:00 am, starting at Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill Street, Roswell, Georgia 30075. Riders should be ready by 7:45 am.
