Roswell’s first responders keep the community safe, and the Chiefs of its Police and Fire departments will be on hand for an activity that will see them interact with local families.
The Roswell First Responders Foundation hopes to add a touch of fun to the end of May. Its Coffee with the Chiefs will offer a sneak peek into how both the police and fire services operate, and all ages may take part.
The free event will see the adults enjoy cups of coffee courtesy of Gracious Plenty Bakery and Breakfast, and to show respect to its hometown heroes, a portion of the proceeds from its sales for the day will be donated to the Roswell First Responders Foundation. Kids can explore the fire truck that will be parked on site, while adults can meet the chiefs in person and ask them any questions they have. A basket raffle draw has also been scheduled.
The monies raised will be used to support responders and their families, as well as to fund the purchase of equipment and training. A poster printing company can craft publications that may be helpful in creating public anticipation for such an event.
Coffee with the Chiefs and Touch a Truck have both been scheduled for Friday, May 31. Those who wish to join the fun are invited to drop by 1164 Canton Street starting at 1:00 pm.
