Roswell Rotary sponsors job fair

Employers from all over the Greater Atlanta region will be attending an upcoming mini job fair in Roswell.

The fair, which is sponsored by the Roswell Rotary Club, will be held at Roswell United Methodist Church. More than 20 employers will bring any open positions they have, and hope to meet with potential applicants in person, and the list is growing.

The fair begins at 12.30 pm, when 10 workshops will be presented led by business professionals, such as job coaches, recruiters, and resource specialists. The subjects of the workshops include how to use LinkedIn messages to attract the attention of a hiring manager, and how to write a résumé. Photographers will be available to take headshots for free for people to use on LinkedIn, and recruiters will be available to review résumés, also free of charge.

The final event on the day’s schedule is a dinner hosted by the Rotary Club, which will start at 6:45 pm. A donation of $3 is suggested, and it is not necessary to sign up in advance.

The mini-fair is slated for Monday, September 26. Events like these can be enhanced when organizers work with flyer printing companies. These companies can create detailed handouts containing information about the entire day, including schedules and presenters, as well as directions to the venue and sketches of the interior, to make it simple for attendees to find specific events.
