Roswell Riverside Sounds to continue with something BIG

This year's Roswell Riverside Sounds season is to continue this weekend with what promises to be an exciting set from one of the biggest alternative rock bands around at the moment.

The annual outdoor concert season will host North Carolina's BIG Something on July 5.

The popular event at Riverside Park is an initiative from Roswell's Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department. Playing host to many upcoming bands since it started, this year's set by the six-man Big Something continues that trend.

The manager of Roswell Historic and Cultural Affairs, Morgan Timmis, said:

"BIG Something has a growing and passionate fan base in their home state of North Carolina."

With a growing band of aficionados wider afield than their home too, Timmins continued to explain:

"Their new album is critically acclaimed, and we are excited to have them here at Riverside Sounds."

The band is touring as part of its Eat Coast tour to promote its self-titled second album. Self-titled, it has already been well received by the likes of Relix magazine and Angelica-Music.com.

As well as being well supported by the local community in Roswell, the event is also backed by a number of local businesses. With local traders on site offering food and drinks for each concert too, Print companies will no doubt be busy readying Banners and Posters to ensure the crowds can get around the venue easily.
