Roswell ready to be on the hunt

Folks interested in the spooky history of Roswell have got a lot of fun to look forward to this weekend, as the 2014 Halloween neighborhood scavenger hunt takes place.

Raising funds for the Roswell Historical Society, the annual scavenger hunt takes place around the historic district of the city, with many friends and families expected to attend while donning their scary costumes.

Always a popular local event, it is likely that poster printing and Stationery printing has already taken place ahead of the day.

Anyone wishing to join in with the freaky fun should be at the parking lot at the Roswell Visitors Center. Ideally fully costumed in the scariest best, everyone scavenging on the day will be given their own set of questions and clues about Roswell to help them on their hunt.

To prove that all the sights on this year's hunt have been visited, Roswell's band of scavengers will have to take photos to show that they have chalked it off of their schedule.

It takes place this Saturday, October 18, getting underway at 12:00 noon, Each team of up to five scavengers has until 3:00 pm to get to this finish at Mac McGee's, where the final tallying up of successful visits will take place. Prizes will be awarded as the end of event party gets underway.
