Roswell ready for horrifying weekend

This month sees the opening of freaky fauna-based frolic 'Little Shop of Horrors' at Roswell High School.

With more than a little poster printing and set design taking place ahead of the event in all likelihood, the fun scare fest is being put on by the Chorus and Theater departments of the high school.

The show has been with us for some time, with it first appearing way back in the 1960s. As well as being made into a hit musical movie, the Broadway version of the show had a long run in the 1980s – the third longest of its era.

Though Roswell High's show may not quite be on that scale, it is sure to be a fun few hours out for the family. It will also be a great time for the cast, with a host of our very own students making up the cast, as well as the stage and performance support crew.

It will also be the last ever show for a number of the theater and chorus seniors, who move on next month.

It opens on Thursday, April 16 and runs through Sunday, April 19. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening shows will get underway at 7:00 pm, with Sunday's matinee show starting at 3:00 pm. The show takes place at the Roswell High School auditorium.
