Roswell plans paint collection fundraiser

A local theater company has organized a fundraiser that it hopes will add a dash of color to the community while helping local households dispose of unwanted paint products.

The Roswell Theatre Company wants to spread the word about the Paint Recycling fundraiser in the works for mid-August. Those who take advantage of the offer will also be doing a good turn for Mother Nature, and the collection station will be set up at Roswell High School.

The public is invited to bring any unused paint to the collection point for drop off, and Atlanta Paint Disposal will pick it up for processing. It will be separated, bulked, filtered and then made ready for use in community beautification projects around the state. It has been requested that paints are kept in their original, labelled containers and are not mixed. The price for this service starts at $2, and payment may be made by check, cash, or card.

A locally based initiative can often make good use of the marketing services provided by a poster printing company. It can offer clients a full range of options at various price levels.

The Roswell Theatre Company has partnered with Atlanta Paint Disposal to offer this fundraiser on Saturday, August 16. It will begin at 11:00 am at 11595 King Road, and it will remain open until 3:00 pm.
