For the 30th year, Halloween Hikes will be offered by the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell.
The event is non-scary and family friendly, and provides an outdoor experience, as well as a change from the haunted houses often seen at this
Visitors to the nature center will be able to stroll along a lighted trail through the woods, meet favorite costumed characters, play games, make crafts, compose music, and even cook s’mores. The center raises money by running a concession stand, where visitors can purchase cider, hot chocolate, and kits to make the s’mores over a bonfire.
Parents should note that strollers cannot be taken on the trails. In order to ensure safety, groups of 20-25 visitors will have a guide assigned, although the trails are lighted anyway.
The Halloween Hikes take place from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday, October 23, Saturday, October 24, and Friday, October 30. Admission is $9 per person, with children two and under admitted free. Tickets are sold each night from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, with hikes starting at 7:00 pm and running continuously. The center is at 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell.
Center officials might help publicize the event by working with a poster printing company to devise fun and colorful Posters to place throughout Roswell giving details of the event.Get a Free Quote for Posters
