What's Happening in Roswell, GA…

An orchestra will perform live in Roswell this February.

The name of the group is Orchestra Noir. They are an entirely African American orchestra coming from Atlanta, appearing at this event as a part of a mission to be a reminder of diversity in all aspects of music, and to introduce this concept to younger audiences.

The event is happening as a part of the Center Stage Series put on by the Cultural Arts Center. The serial concert gives residents of Roswell the opportunity to enjoy an evening of live performances. Each performance happens in a different month, with future performances from John Driskell Hopkins and Chloë Agnew scheduled.

Orchestra Noir will be the second performer in the series, and hopes to use their platform to celebrate African American musical achievements in all genres. Having worked with studios like OWN Network. They give back to the community through their 'Clayton Nights' project.

Tickets for the event will be $30 per individual, with a discounted price of $25 for students available. There are military discounts and senior discounts available.
