Residents of Roswell and the surrounding area have entertainment, children's activities, and fine art to look forward to, with the Roswell Arts Festival set to open.
Artists working in paint, making jewelry, doing sand paintings, and involved in graphic arts are all scheduled to take part in the annual event and will have many of their works on sale. Residents who have an artistic bent will have an opportunity to express themselves by painting on a community canvas.
There will also be food trucks at the festival so people can find something to satisfy their stomachs.
A shuttle bus will take visitors between the city hall and Town Square, and attendees are encouraged to use the service, which is free and will run for the duration of the event. The fair is a fundraiser for parks and recreation program in Roswell, and has raised over $1m to date.
Event organizers might consider working with brochure printers on a booklet for fair attendees, listing where to find specific artists, as well as other attractions and the food trucks. It could also provide the titles of works for sale.
The 49th Roswell Arts Festival is slated to take place tomorrow, September 19, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and this Sunday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It will be held at the Town Square.
