Roswell goes on Big Pumpkin Run

A charity 5K will be held in Roswell this October.

The name of the event is The Big Pumpkin Run 5K. Proceeds from the race will go to benefit The Cottage School. The institution offers educational services to children with special needs. With donations, the non-profit organization will work on improving the infrastructure for students to have an environment more conducive to learning. The occasion takes place annually, and this year, it aims to be more family-friendly with its themed costume aspect. The course will go around the Roswell Riverside Park. The terrain will be mostly flat, and may prove to be manageable for all levels of runners.

Patrons are welcome to dress up according to the theme. There will be prizes for costumes and top performers. Each participant will receive an event T-shirt, as well as a $10 coupon from the Big Peach Running Company.

The cost for entering will be $35. There will be a price increase after September 30 to $37. Those who prefer to join virtually may do so at a cost of $30. Otherwise, event T-Shirts are on sale for $20. Guests may sign up on the event’s website.

The 5K takes place on October 15 at the Roswell Riverside Park. This is located at 575 Riverside Road, Roswell, Georgia. It begins at 8am, ending at 11am.
