A musical duo will be performing in Roswell, getting the new year off to a lively start at a local brewpub.
The group will take the stage at From The Earth Brewing. This brewpub is owned by Tim Stevens and has garnered several awards over the years, including 2020’s Best Brewpub in the US as named by USA Today. This year it almost took that accolade again, coming second.
Fire and The Knife is the husband-and-wife duo Nanyana Summer and JJ Boogie. The latter, who is recognized as a guitarist and producer for the Grammy-winning group Arrested Development, collaborates with singer-songwriter Summer, who shares familial ties with Dolly Parton. Together, their musical fusion encompasses country, rock, blues, jazz, and folk, and resonates across generations.
Their repertoire spans from intimate acoustic tunes with a captivating groove, to high-energy moments featuring harmonized guitars.
The event will be free to attend. Attendees can however make reservations through the From The Earth Brewing Company listing. Individuals who have questions can contact the venue via phone at 770.910.9799 or email at info@fromtheearthbrewingco.com.
