The public that calls the community of Roswell home have been offered the opportunity to have unwanted electronics disposed of safely and properly, and all residents are welcome to take advantage of the offer.
The city will have a collection point set up at the Computer Museum of America, and New Life Technology Group has also lent its support to the event. A small fee will be charged for flat screen televisions, and assistance will be provided to those who bring items for disposal.
New Life Technology Corp, which will be collecting the electronics, explained that it will be able to accept computers, servers, laptops, phones and tablets, flat screen monitors and many other items. The event will be up and running for two hours, and it was explained that any data on the devices will be wiped clean according to the Department of Defense Standard.
A poster printing company will be pleased to make sure as many as possible know about a scheduled event in their home area. The public has been asked not to bring cathode ray televisions and monitors, fridges, AC units, light bulbs, household batteries and other materials.
