Roswell course gives physical therapy tips

The Institute of Clinical Excellence in Roswell, Georgia will host a physical therapy course this January.

The course will focus on extremity management. It will look into the research surrounding the most common extremity syndromes seen in outpatients of orthopedic services. The extremities of the body are all the limbs (such as arms and legs) and digits (which are fingers and toes).

All the course material will come from literature that focuses on the use of exercise and manual therapy as the means of treatment. The course will also give an assessment of traditional philosophies surrounding therapy management, as well as more contemporary ideas. Attendees can look forward to insightful debates on which is more useful. Throughout the course, an emphasis will be placed on exercise prescription, and treatment progression.

For those looking for some time outside of the classroom and in the field, there will be a lab component. This aspect of the course will be worth 40% of the overall grade.

The Institute of Clinical Excellence specializes in classes for rehabilitation specialists. All professional experience levels are welcome. Brochure printing can be a great way to offer information to course attendees.

The course will be held from Saturday, January 15 to Sunday, January 16. Classes are located at 700 Hembree Pl, Roswell, GA 30076-3800. It begins at 8:00 am on the Saturday and ends at 5:00 pm on the Sunday.
