Jazz performer, Joe Gransden, will be taking the stage in Roswell in mid-December.
Individuals are invited to enjoy a boost of festive spirit with Gransden's “A Very Jazzy Christmas”. The band leader and singer returns alongside the entire music group for his next “Jazz Milestones Series Concert.” This will showcase renditions of well-known holiday tunes, promising to set the tone for the holiday season and leave individuals in high spirits.
Gransden boasts a global performance history and seven self-titled CDs. Initially acclaimed for his trumpet's hard-bop style, Gransden's singing draws comparisons to names like Frank Sinatra and Chet Baker. His father and grandfather were also musicians, influencing his early immersion in music. Joining big bands straight out of high school, he toured with the bands of icons like Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey, later performing with various groups in New York.
General admission tickets to the event will cost $38.50, or $33.75 for students, seniors, and military individuals. Tickets can be bought through the Roswel365 listing. Those with questions can contact the venue via phone at (770) 594-6232 or email at boxoffice@roswellgov.com.
