The Roswell Cultural Arts Center is hosting an artist’s showcase this November.

The show will feature the work of Anne Nielsen, a multifaceted painter. She has gained popularity in recent years for her works that often break conventional molds. Her pieces have the trademark of telling a deeper story, as she infuses her work with her experience and education in Psychology. At the beginning of her career, Nielsen worked as a self-taught metal artist. Wanting a change in pace, she volunteered to work as a theater painter, where her passion for art soon ignited.

She expanded her areas of expertise by experimenting with portraiture, still life, landscape paintings and emotionalism. These helped her to develop a distinguishing eye for color and light in paintings. Since then she has had her work displayed in several high-profile locations, worked with art institutions, and joined the Art on Broad Art Gallery as a member.

Nielsen now celebrates her work in Roswell with a display that will span over a month. Patrons may view her work in the lobby and hallway of the Roswell Cultural Arts Center all day. The event is free for all to attend.
