What's Happening in Roswell, GA…

There will be a local gathering this July for the Independence Day celebration in Roswell.

The event is the Paddle to Party Rock, and it is an adult-focused affair. It will offer patrons the opportunity to play on the water as they paddle to their destination, after which the celebration begins. There will be music on-site for everyone to enjoy, and an open space for those who would like to dance. The event is open to all members of the community.

As this is a BYOB event, patrons are welcome to bring their preferred beverages. For maximum comfort and enjoyment, the organizers also recommend that patrons bring adequate water, sunscreen and sunblocking items such as hats, glasses, and more. The organizers also advise that it is required by state law that all paddlers have a whistle, personal flotation device, and a light source such as a flashlight. Paddleboards will not be made available at the venue, so patrons must bring their own.

This event is free to attend. Attendees should note that if they arrive at the start point late, they may paddle upstream until they meet other patrons.
