Non-profit organization to host workshop for writers

Next month, The Carnegie Writers will hold one of its workshops. The meeting will be online, and Roswell residents are encouraged to join.

The Carnegie Writers is a non-profit organization that looks to support local communities. Its mission is to promote writing and develop literacy across all age groups, and it looks to help individuals reach their personal goals by providing resources and encouraging further education, collaboration, and creativity.

At the workshop, writers will have access to readings, speakers, and other resources that will support their creativity and profession. Entrants can also meet other writers to discuss topics related to writing and their careers. They can take this opportunity to network with others attending. Business Cards can also be used to facilitate new connections during events like this.

These workshops typically take place twice every month, so if anyone interested misses the first session, they can attend the second workshop of the month. Meetings usually occur at the Alpharetta Branch Library, but the COVID-19 situation has shifted them online.

March 6th is the next workshop date, and it will run from 3pm to 5pm. Each entrant will receive a Zoom link on the day of the event at 2:30pm. The workshop is free, and registration can be completed online. For those interested in the second monthly meeting, it will take place on March 20th.
