A live concert is to be held in Roswell this August as part of a local monthly series.
The Riverside Sounds Concert Series offers community members the opportunity to enjoy live performances from a variety of musicians in an outdoor environment. Highly popular among residents since its inception 23 years ago, it currently boasts the title of the longest-running musical concert series in the state.
Each session features genres such as indie rock, country, and soul. The venue will offer patrons the chance to enjoy the outdoors and the natural splendor of the Chattahoochee River.
The August staging will feature vocalist and guitarist Jake La Botz, whose music touches on a variety of topics including self-growth, motivation, and spirituality. His musical influences include Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, and Nick Lowe. These sounds have blended to create an American neo-noir genre that can resonate with a variety of audiences.
