The city of Roswell will host a pre-independence celebration this July.
Twilight at Barrington Hall is a family-friendly occasion open to all residents. The event features lawn-style seating for patrons, where they will enjoy food, drinks and entertainment, which will then followed by a screening of the 1939 patriotic themed blockbuster, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.
The story follows the life of a small-town man elected to the Senate, and finds himself away from home when he goes to Washington. Attendees can look forward to a fun-filled evening as they ride along with the main character, who finds himself in increasingly comedic situations.
The entertainment aspect of the evening comes courtesy of a 40-piece ensemble, which will provide an evening of jazz, Broadway, and patriotic sounds. The event presents patrons with the choice of general admission, or VIP admission with complimentary drinks, seats, and parking.
The cost for general admission will be $10 for children and $15 for adults, while VIP is $15 for children, and $25 for adults. Tickets do not include food, which will be available for purchase from food trucks. The event does not allow outside food or drinks.
Print shops can offer creative ways to make attractive material for events such as these.
The show will be held at the Barrington Hall on July 3. It is located at 535 Barrington Drive, Roswell. It begins at 4:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm.
