Marietta will be hosting a party to celebrate a national holiday in early July.
The Fourth in the Park event highlights July 4th and the birthday of the USA. This day of activities will have something for the whole family to enjoy. The events and items planned include a parade, fireworks, multiple concerts, a fair full of vendors to shop from, an area for the children to play in, a bell ceremony, an array of food and beverages, a carnival, and games.
The parade, entitled Let Freedom Ring, has a total of 2,000 participating individuals across 110 acts. The route will take the spectacle through multiple streets, giving spectators plenty of room. Some of the types of entries include local companies, marching groups, beauty queens, civic organizations, and scout troops.
The concerts include performances by The Atlanta Concert Band, Scott Thompson, Departure: The Journey Tribute Band, and Josh Jones. Tables seating six and eight people will be available for $80 and $100 respectively as a part of the shows set for the evening. A schedule with a more detailed breakdown of the events can be found through the city’s website. Flyer printing is often used to promote city celebrations such as this one.
The July 4th party is set to run from 10:00 am until the conclusion of the fireworks display.
