Sushi-making workshop comes to Marietta brewery

Marietta residents who want to learn the skills and techniques to enjoy restaurant-quality sushi at home are in luck, as a local chef will hold a culinary workshop in town.

The Handmade Sushi-Making Class, which will be led by Chef Jennifer, is coming to Schoolhouse Brewhouse in Marietta next month, giving attendees the skills and confidence to upgrade their culinary skills and daily lunches. The class will run for two hours and allow enrollees to learn through hands-on experience.

Attendees can enjoy an authentic experience that includes all of the necessary ingredients and cooking tools. Chef Jennifer will provide demonstrations and instructions as the class unfolds, along with some chef tips and life hacks that can improve the culinary process when preparing lunch or dinner. Print shops can add to cooking classes like this by providing high-quality printed recipes and ingredients lists that students can take home.

The class will be beginner-friendly, and interested individuals of all skill levels are encouraged to sign up. Each student will enjoy a welcoming and judgement-free environment to laugh and have fun with cooking. Comfortable and casual clothing is recommended, and all participants must be 21 or over.

Schoolhouse Brewhouse, located on Franklin Court in Marietta, will host the culinary workshop. The doors open at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 22nd. Enrollment is open online for $70 per student.
